Clean the surface to be painted with some T.S.P. powder dissolved into lukewarm water. Should you prefer, you may sand lightly each glossy surface.
One must remove dust and greasy material prior to repairing dents and marks that you want to conceal with an appropriate spackling compound for interior and exterior applications (such as PolyInstafill, Red Devil, Wall Patch, Bondex, etc…). After a light sanding, the surface is ready to be painted.
It is preferable to apply a primer before using a durable paint of a good quality. Ask your paint dealer for an advice. This is the only way to prolong your material life and to reduce the maintenance frequency.
If you prefer, you may also call on specialized painters who can brighten up your paint with a spray gun. It is up to you to choose the most convenient solution
